Meeting set for Granger residents to get answers about proposed data center

Granger residents are invited to attend a community informational meeting at St. Pius X Church on Thursday, May 9.

The meeting is happening because of concerns voiced to elected and appointed public officials. 

They’re looking for answers to questions and concerns in regards to the impact of a proposed large industrial complex of a data center at St. Joe Farm.

The meeting will be happening five days before the St. Joseph County Council’s Public Hearing where a vote on whether to accept or reject the St. Joseph County Area Plan Commission’s favorable recommendation is scheduled for May 14.

The meeting is from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Church located at 52553 N. Fir Rd., Granger, 46530. Residents are strongly encouraged to attend and enter through Door 6.

Representatives of the prospective buyer will be there to meet with citizens to answer questions and concerns.
