Fire trucks responded to the heavy fire at a two-story home in the Sherwood Forest addition on Sherwood Dr. at about 5:45 p.m., according to neighbors in the area.

No word on the cause of the fire. There was a woman inside the home at the time, and she was taken to the hospital after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest, according to the Penn Fire.

That woman has died, according to ABC 57.

You’re being asked to avoid Adams Rd. between S.R. 23 and County Line Rd./Ash Rd. until further notice.
