No injuries to pilot in small plane crash landing near Goshen

There was no report of any injuries to a pilot who crash landed his small plane south of Goshen.

It happened on Saturday morning, Dec. 3.

The plane landed in a field in the area of County Road 19 and County Road 142, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

The force of the landed caused the landing gear to be ripped off the aircraft. The front of plane was also damaged, The Elkhart Truth reported.

It’s believed the pilot had just taken off there and was attempting to gain altitude when the engine suddenly stopped, The Elkhart Truth reported.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
