First, it was hit by a vehicle. Then, a fire destroyed it Wednesday morning.

South Bend firefighters were called to a house fire in the 700 block of Huey Street just before noon Wednesday, according to ABC 57.

The house was engulfed in flames by the time fire crews arrived. The fire was quickly put out, but not before seriously damaging the home.

No one was inside the home, which had been boarded up. Firefighters say it was because a vehicle drove into it over the weekend.
