The Eklhart County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a former co-owner of a golf cart company on charges that he sold over a million dollars worth of golf carts without ever delivering the products.

Former GRC Golf Carts owner Chad Leiby has been in Elkhart County Jail since Labor Day. He’s charged with being a Fugitive From Justice on an outstanding warrant from New York, according to our reporting partners at ABC 57.

In July, a judge ruled Leiby could no longer have anything to do with the business. He was one of three owners of GRC Golf Carts in Elkhart. Leiby was in charge of day-to-day activities, according to ABC 57.

Leiby is accused of misappropriating funds, writing fake invoices, and lying about all of that to the other two owners.
