Michiana residents who look to the night sky will be able to see Venus and Jupiter move through the sky throughout most of summer.

Look west to see Venus and Jupiter on any clear night, according to EarthSky. The two planets will be the two brightest celestial bodies in the sky after the moon.

Venus will be below Jupiter but continue to move toward it every night. Venus is expected to pass Jupiter in late June or early July. The two planets will appear closest on June 30 and July 1 and then again on Aug. 27.
