Enrollment has once again grown at Lake Michigan College.
The college’s Vice President of Enrollment, Marketing and Government Relations says the college is seeing increases all across the board.
They say enrollment is up 9 percent, while credit hours are up 12 percent. In the fall of 2022, the college saw 300 new first-time students.
This year, according to WSJM, the college saw 511.
The increase has been driven by high school graduates realizing they can save money by getting in their first two years of college at a community college before transferring to a four-year institution.
