A four-vehicle collision occurred early Friday morning, Oct. 11, at the intersection of State Road 119 and County Road 40, resulting in one injury and a citation.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., a 59-year-old woman from Goshen, was driving a Ford Escape westbound on Co Rd 40 when police say she ran a stop sign. Phillipp’s vehicle collided with a Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by a Goshen woman who was traveling southwest on SR 119.
The force of the impact pushed the second vehicle into a Jeep Wrangler, driven by a Wakarusa woman, waiting to cross the intersection eastbound. The second car then veered off the road, continuing westbound, where it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 21-year-old Goshen man.
The driver who police say caused the crash was the only individual injured, complained of neck pain and was transported to Goshen Hospital for treatment. She was also cited for failing to stop at the intersection.
