Michigan is urging caution as dry conditions are raising the risk of wildfires.
The weekend brought some rain and cooler weather to the area, and firefighters say they have the area under control.
However, heavy winds have knocked trees onto power lines, and they say there’s a risk of fires as conditions are still fairly dry.
The department has restricted burning in much of the region, as federal monitors say areas in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula are experiencing a drought.
