Body discovered at Silver Beach identified

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department has identified the body found at Silver Beach on Wednesday.

The Department says it appears that 69 year-old Douglas Greyerbiehl of St. Joseph was the victim of the drowning who was recovered Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff’s officials say there are no indications that foul play was involved and the investigation continues. An autopsy was conducted on Thursday.
