Dowagiac man headed back to prison after being caught with meth

A Dowagiac man is headed back to prison after being caught with meth as a habitual offender. 

33-year-old Michael Zech pleaded guilty to possession of meth as a habitual offender, landing him 19 months to 15 years in prison as well as over $1500 in fines and costs.

Leader Publications states he was on parole at the time of the incident which happened in May when he was arrested with another felon.

Zech was reportedly released in November of last year after serving prison sentences for operating a meth lab and conspiracy to deliver meth.
