Amended charging information was approved for the 21-year-old Shipshewana man being charged in a crash that left his passenger dead.

It happened in November 2022 when Cameron Woolf allegedly had marijuana and cocaine in his system and was driving, when he entered an intersection in front of another vehicle, causing a collision.

Woolf’s passenger, Adam Maxson-Jones, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woolf was charged with causing death while operating a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana, but according to The Goshen News, the state requested amended charging information to add operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the blood.

Woolf’s jury trial is scheduled for January 6.
