The City of South Bend and Venues Parks & Arts will give away clear bags ahead of Fusion Fest at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 6, at the Howard Park Event Center.
Clear bags are limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Bags will be limited to 1 per adult.
Metal detectors will be in use at each entrance to the event for security screening purposes. All patrons entering secured festival sites are subject to a bag check.
Clear bags are highly encouraged for those attending Fusion Fest, according to a City of South Bend news release, which states they anticipate the clear bags will allow festival goers to move through the bag check quicker and lessen wait times.
Fusion Fest is taking place on Saturday, Sep. 14 from 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. and on Sunday, September 15 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
