A Griffith man is facing more than 17 years in prison for committing various crimes against children.
According to the Department of Justice, the now-25-year-old Edin Galvez used social media between 2021 and 2022 to offer a child $2,000 in exchange for the child performing some unspecified “sexual act.”
He also wanted the child to send him explicit images and videos.
It turns out Galvez was also a coach of some sort, according to Homeland Security officers in Chicago.
