A former Mr. Indiana Football has made an NFL roster. Carson Steele, who had stellar careers at both Ball State and UCLA was signed to the 53-man roster of the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday.
After graduating from Center Grove having led the Trojans to a state championship, Steele went to Ball State where he rushed for over 22-hundred yards and 20 touchdowns in two seasons.
He then transferred to UCLA and continued to be a top contributor for the Bruins.
Steele was signed as an undrafted free agent on Tuesday by the Chiefs after leading the team in rushing during the preseason.
