Flames, smoke billow from fire at Juday Creek Golf Course

A big blaze was reported at the Juday Creek Golf Course clubhouse just before 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26.

Images from the scene showed multiple fire engines and a huge ladder with crews attacking the flames from the roof.

Listeners to 95.3 report smoke billowing into the sky and seen as far away as the Bittersweet Road roundabout.

Traffic was backed up at Cleveland and Fir Roads as crews from multiple departments worked to put the fire out.

There was no report of any injuries. So far, there is no word about the cause of the fire.
