Indiana’s Task Force 1 responds to Tropical Storm Debby in South Carolina

Indiana’s Task Force 1 has been activated as South Carolina prepares deals with the effects of Tropical Storm Debby,.
Debby is the fourth named storm of the season to impact the continental U.S.
The task force includes skilled search and rescue experts who help find people trapped in their homes and provide aid to those affected by disasters.
Debby is bringing heavy rain to parts of South Carolina and several other southern states, causing flooding.
The team is prepared to stay as long as necessary, with deployments typically lasting seven to 14 days but sometimes extending up to three weeks.
Task Force 1 is one of six teams from across the country responding to the situation in South Carolina and Georgia.
