Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County crew member to bike 160 miles

A Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County construction crew member will be biking 160 miles across the state this weekend.

It’s all to help raise funds to build a house for a fellow veteran. Habitat employee Jerry Blanchard served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and has continued giving back to his country through his construction profession and church.

This 160 mile-long bike ride will be Blanchard’s longest ride to date, and he’ll have 14 hours to complete it.

You can follow Blanchard’s progress on the Habitat’s Facebook page, LinkedIn, X page or Instagram account.

His goal is to raise $5,000, and you can help by clicking on the donate button on the Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County’s website.
