Woman crashes while trying to avoid deer

A woman from Lawrence, Michigan, was hospitalized after crashing her car to avoid hitting a deer.

The accident occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, near Decatur Road and Fosdick Street in Volinia Township.

The 31-year-old lost control went up an embankment, and overturned, ending up in a bean field.

Despite the crash, she managed to exit the vehicle on her own and suffered only minor injuries.
