Serial killer held in state prison near Michigan City found dead

A serial killer responsible for multiple murders in Alaska is dead.

Joshua Wade was apparently found unresponsive in his cell at the Indiana State Prison in Westville earlier this month. He was 44 years old.

Wade received multiple life sentences as part of a 2010 plea agreement.

He told prosecutors he was responsible for five murders in Alaska, the first of which took place when he was just 14 years old.
