Goshen boy, 15, on bicycle collides with passing pick-up truck, is hospitalized

A 15-year-old boy from Goshen who was struck by a pick-up truck was rushed to the hospital with possible lower extremity injuries.

The collision happened around 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21, when Elkhart County Sheriff’s deputies say the teen was riding his bike and left a driveway, entering State Road 13, north of County Road 36.

Investigators say the boy failed to yield to the passing truck and struck the front passenger side door.
