The Humane Society of Elkhart County is offering free vaccinations and microchips for pets this weekend.

It’s happening on Saturday, June 15, from noon until 3 during its third Community Boost at the Bethany Missionary Church in Elkhart.

Pets in attendance will be able to receive free rabies vaccinations, distemper vaccinations and microchips. There is no limit to the number of pets in one household that are allowed, though having or receiving a microchip is required to receive free vaccinations.

The event is fire-come, first-served or while supplies last, and all dogs must be restrained by a well-fitted collar and leash or secured in a humane carrier, and all cats must be in a carrier.
