As Michigan’s long-serving Senator Debbie Stabenow prepares to step down, there’s one thing she says she’s not planning on doing before the Democratic Primary vote.
Stabenow says she won’t endorse a preferred successor until after the primary. She says she plans to support the Democratic nominee in the general election, as well as other Dems on the ballot including President Biden. But Bridge Michigan says she isn’t chiming in on the race between Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin and actor Hill Harper.
Another Democrat, businessman Nasser Beydoun, was disqualified on Friday for not having enough valid signatures.
The GOP contenders are former Congressman Mike Rogers, Sandy Pensler, Justin Amash, and Dr. Sherry O’Donnell.
