Man accused of causing death from crash receives continuance for jury trial

A man accused of causing death from a crash received a continuance for his jury trial after new witnesses were filed by the state.

Cameron Woolf of Shipshewana allegedly had marijuana and cocaine in his system when his passenger, Adam Maxson-Jones, was killed in a car crash. It happened in November of 2022.

Reports say Woolf was traveling on County Road 15 when he entered the intersection in front of a Jeep Wrangler, which collided with  the passenger side of Woolf’s vehicle. Maxson-Jones was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woolf’s blood draw came back with THC and cocaine, according to The Goshen News, Woolf’s trial was moved to January 6.
