Overdose deaths are down in Indiana.
Since 2022, Indiana reported a near 18-percent drop in fatal overdoses, one of only four states to show a decrease of that size, says the CDC.
The State has made several steps forward when it comes to overdose treatment and addiction recovery.
Treatment centers have increased available beds by nearly 400 percent since 2017, and the state has taken the tens of millions of dollars won in opioid settlements to fund narcan programs and other recovery centers.
