One dead after fiery car crash in Van Buren County

One person died in a fiery car crash in Van Buren County. It happened around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14.
An eyewitness reported seeing a speeding car go airborne and crash into a tree at the intersection of County Roads 687 and 342 in Keeler Township.
The eyewitness tried to approach the vehicle, but the doors were locked and the car caught fire.
The driver, who police believe wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, died from their injuries.
