A child was found uninjured after being lost in Geneva Township on Monday.

Agencies including South Haven Area Emergency Services were dispatched to 68th Street around 4 p.m. on Monday, according to the Herald Palladium.

A three-year-old boy was said to have wandered away from the residence.

Drones operated by two responders spotted the child walking in a field near a pond a distance from the residence. Van Buren County deputy Eric Calhoun and his K-9 partner “Kuno”  made contact with the little boy.

Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott says it’s the fifth time that the deputy and K-9 duo have tracked down a lost child.

The child was returned to his home without any injuries.
