The victim of a homicide earlier this month has been identified as an elderly Saint Joseph man.

80-year-old Jerry Wagner’s body was found by police on Feb. 4. in the 900 block of East Empire.

Police say a person of interest has been identified and is currently lodged at the Berrien County Jail on unrelated charges.
