One person was arrested after leading LaPorte County Sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit Wednesday night.

Around 10:42 pm, a LaPorte County Sheriffs Office deputy attempted to pull a car over for driving over the speed limit.

The driver, 41-year-old Christopher Orozco, reportedly failed to stop, instead traveling through LaPorte County and into St. Joseph County before hitting a set of tire deflation devices set up on State Road 2.

ABC 57 reports that Orozco was taken into custody for Resisting Law Enforcement and Operating While Intoxicated. He’s currently booked at the LaPorte County Jail.
