Dowagiac man injured in Silver Creek Township crash

Speed appears to be a factor in a crash in Cass County that injured a Dowagiac man.

The collision happened around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, on M-152 near Leach Road in Silver Creek Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the driver was traveling west on M-152 when he lost control, ran off the road and struck a telephone pole a large tree.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Corewell Health Hospital in St. Joseph for his injuries.
