If you’ve been thinking about adopting a dog, the Humane Society of Elkhart County says now is the perfect time.

In a post on social media, the Humane Society stated that it is reaching a critical point where they are running out of space for incoming dogs.

Their urgent appeal says that there are nearly 50 dogs needing homes.

So, the Humane Society is waiving adoption fees throughout the rest of January.

While fees are waived, a quick on-site application process is required for those wanting to take home a new furry friend.
