Michigan’s top financial officials and economic experts have some good news after years of pandemic disruptions and record-setting economic highs and lows.

They say Michigan’s tax revenue is stabilizing.

According to Bridge Michigan, the state is expected to bring in $31.5 billion in tax revenue in the current fiscal year, which is $418 million more than previous projections.

And, projected tax revenue in the next fiscal year beginning in October is expected to be $32.3 billion.

The latest estimates came from last Friday’s Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference.
