Elkhart County man allegedly caught growing magic mushrooms gets trip to jail

A man in Elkhart County is now on a trip to jail for being caught growing a lot of drugs in his home.

Not just any old drugs, though he was growing magic mushrooms.

The cops busted Mason Bails with 35 pounds of mushrooms more scientifically known as psilocybin which if ingested can cause you to see some weird things.

Investigators caught on to Bails when police found some of his product at a home in Grand Rapid, Michigan.

ICE got involved and their investigation led to his home in Elkhart County.

The 35 pounds of shrooms amounts to about $56,000 in street value.

Bails faces 30 years in prison
