Potato Creek State Park adds new track chair for guests with mobility disabilities

Guests with mobility disabilities are now able to explore more challenging trails at Potato Creek State Park.

A new track chair can be borrowed from the park’s nature center to allow wheelchair users and guests with mobility disabilities to explore more of the park.

The chair was made possible by a grant from Ford’s Bronco Wild Fund in partnership with the America’s State Parks Foundation. Because of their generosity, there are now 15 trail chairs of various types available for use at Indiana State Park properties.

Those interested in borrowing the trail chair are asked to call the property ahead for more information on the chairs and trails on which they can be used.

Contact information can be found at stateparks.IN.gov.
