Kids have the chance to ride the South Shore Line for free for a limited time.

The South Shore Line has expanded its Kids Ride Free program to all trains and train times from December 26 through January 5. Up to three children age 13 and younger can ride any train for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

South Shore Line is continuing this service to let riders know how much they are appreciated, and, according to Nicole Barker, the Director of Capital Investment and Implementation, they wanted to offer the program at a time of year when more families and friends are likely to be together.
