The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a deadly stabbing at Beacon Heights Apartments.

It was around 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, when South Bend Police were called to the 3400 block of Ardmore Trail on the report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died.

This is believed to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
