Deal made that could restart Palisades Nuclear Power Plant

Holtec International and the Wolverine Power Cooperative have reached a deal that could restart the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant.
Palisades was shut down in May of 2022. ABC 57 News reports the closure cost the area an estimated 500 jobs and millions of dollars in tax revenue.
Restarting the plant would restore jobs, generate tax revenue, and also provide cheaper clean energy for the area.
