A three-year-old boy from Chicagoland drowned at a lake house on Indian Lake.

Cass County Sheriff’s deputies were called around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 1, to the home where they found Elijah Rosegren of Hinsdale already pulled from the water by a relative who was attempting CPR.

First responders attempted to revive him unsuccessfully.

The toddler was rushed to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac where medical staff pronounced him dead.
