Three officers are remembered on a memorial plaque unveiled this week in the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department’s lobby.
The plaque is displayed on the same wall as the main entrance to honor Detective John Knoblock, the department’s first officer who died Sheriff Thomas Chamberlin, who lost his battle with cancer in 2015, and Captain Daniel Butt, who unexpectedly passed away in 2021.
