If you’re looking for a fun way to get your kids creative this summer, the South Bend Police Department has you covered.

It’s called the patch coloring contest. Kids 18 and younger are invited to color their own version of the South Bend Police Department patch.

In order to color the patch, you can print it out online or go to the Police Department’s front lobby to pickup a copy.

The finished artwork is due by Thursday, July 20.

The child’s name as well as the parents name and phone number should be written on the back of the picture.

In terms of voting, the pictures will be posted onto Facebook so that viewers can “like” a picture to vote on it. On July 24, all submissions will be uploaded. Voting will end on Friday, July 28 at 5 p.m.

The winning patch design displayed at the South Bend Police Department’s National Night Out Event on Aug. 1. It will also be the profile picture on all South Bend Police social media for a week.

You can go here for the coloring page.
