Fire crews called to business near South Bend Intl. Airport

Crews battled a fire at a business near the South Bend International Airport Monday morning.

They were called to International Bakers Services shortly before 2 AM for a blaze that had to be fought for several hours. A ladder truck was brought in to assist in the effort.

The company creates flavors that are used in food manufacturing.

Officials are still assessing the extent of the damage and there has been no word of any injuries.
