Michigan City authorities find mother and son shot to death in home

A mother and her adult son were found dead after being shot at a home in Michigan City.

Police were called to the home in the 2800 block of Maple Street just before 10 a.m Tuesday, according to ABC 57.

When they entered, they found the the bodies of Sharon Corr, 60, and her son, Brandon Corr, 27.

There’s no word on the circumstances that led to the shooting, or whether police believe there are any suspects.

Investigators do not believe there is a threat to the public.
