An Elkhart man will be featured on the spin-off of a popular reality show.

Dan Albert, a crab fisherman who grew up in Jimtown before moving to Middlebury, will be one of the fisherman on Deadliest Catch: Dungeon Cove, according to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

The show, which premieres on Sept. 13, is a spin-off of the popular show Deadliest Catch, and will focus on Dungeoness Crab fisherman off the coast of Oregon.

Albert became a commercial fisherman in 2009 when he settled in the Northwest and he’ll be seen on the deck of a boat called The Redeemer that will be featured on the show. Albert is unsure how much screen time he will have, but says he was “just glad to have been a part of it.”
