Warsaw man arrested after crashing into, killing bicyclist

A Warsaw man has been arrested after a crash that killed a bicyclist.
The collision happened on Aug. 8 near State Road 19 and West County Road 1100 North.
Police arrived to find the victim, Aaron Miller, dead by his damaged bicycle.
The driver, Jonathan Walter Davis, 25, told officers he was driving north when he saw Miller’s bike light but “blacked out.”
When he regained consciousness, his vehicle had hit Miller.
A blood test later showed Davis had methamphetamine and marijuana in his system.
Davis was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, causing death, with a bond set at $36,000.
He’s due in court on Oct. 31.
