Hit-and-run incident in Goshen: Driver charged after fleeing scene

A Middlebury man was arrested after an apparent hit-and-run collision in Goshen.

The incident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, in the parking lot of Chalet Party Shoppe on Chicago Avenue.

According to police reports, A 47-year-old woman was injured when a vehicle struck her, then fled the scene. The woman sustained an arm injury and was treated at the scene by medics.

Authorities to the report, and Lagrange Police were able to track down the suspect vehicle and the driver.

David Anglin, 56, was charged with leaving the scene of a serious bodily injury crash.

The woman is expected to recover.
