Governor Eric Holcomb has activated the Indiana National Guard to assist with hurricane relief efforts in Florida.
The Guard will help clear routes, manage shelters, distribute supplies, and oversee operations.
Holcomb says, “Whether we’re helping North Carolina recover from Hurricane Helene or supporting Floridians after Hurricane Milton, Hoosiers always respond when disaster strikes.
The National Guard will continue to provide essential support on the ground and in the air while we at home mourn the losses our neighbors in the South are facing.
