A South Bend man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison following multiple convictions, including murder and robbery.

It was back in August that a jury found Quadir Quiroz, 19, guilty of murder and a firearms enhancement for the 2021 killing of Ashanti Hines.

Then, last month, Quiroz pleaded guilty to robbery charges related to the death of Sa’Sha Agnew, as well as two additional robbery and criminal recklessness charges.

On Friday, Oct. 4, Quoriz was sentenced to 60 years for murder, with an additional 10 years for the firearms enhancement, and 30 years for a robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. Thee sentences will be served consecutively, while other charges, including two counts of criminal recklessness, will run concurrently.

Quiroz will serve his time at the Indiana Department of Corrections.
