Indiana Fever drops regular season finale to Mystics

The Indiana Fever closed out the regular season with a 92-91 loss to the Washington Mystics.
They finished the regular season as the #6 seed. They’ll face the #3 seed which is the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. That game gets started at 3 pm.
The Mystics led Thursday night by as much as 17 while the Fever led by as many as 18. The Fever has 17 turnovers in the defeat to 14 from Washington.
Sika Kone led all scorers for Washington with 20 points.
12 players saw game action for the Fever. Kristy Wallace led the way for Indiana with 17 points. Caitlin Clark had 8 points, 8 assists, and five rebounds while playing 20 minutes. None of the Fever starters played more than 21 minutes.
Even though the Mystics won the game, they missed the postseason with a record of 14-25. The Fever went 20-20 in the regular season.
