Four-vehicle crash in Bristol leaves two hospitalized

A four-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 120 and County Road 35 on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in injuries and significant vehicle damage.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a Bloomingdale, Michigan, man failed to yield at a stop sign on County Road 35 while attempting to cross SR 120. As the man proceeded into the intersection, his vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a westbound Dodge Journey driven by a LaGrange man.

The force of the collision sent the Tahoe off the road, while the Dodge Journey was pushed into a Ford F-150 driven by a Middlebury man which was stopped at the intersection. The Middlebury man’s vehicle was subsequently pushed into a Ram 1500 driven by a Goshen man.

The LaGrange man reported chest pain and was taken to Parkview Hospital in LaGrange. A passenger in one of the vehicles was also hurt and taken to Elkhart General Hospital.
