Illegal immigrant sentenced for illegal reentry and failure to register as a sex offender

An illegal immigrant has been sentenced in U.S. District Court in South Bend after pleading guilty to illegal reentry of a removed alien and failure to register as a sex offender.
According to court documents, Jose De Leon Medina, 39, of Mexico, was convicted of child molesting in 2019 which required him to register as a sex offender.
After De Leon Medina completed his sentence for the crime, he was removed from the United States and returned to Mexico.
Two months later, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials learned De Leon Medina had illegally reentered the United States and was living in Goshen.
De Leon Medina had also failed to register as a sex offender.
De Leon Medina was sentenced to 24 months in prison.

And no doubt he didn’t have a drivers license….send him though the felon zapper; or drop him back home from about 20,000 feet…happy landings.
